Synergy in Grape and Wine Research
The Wine Innovation Cluster (WIC) sees four leading grape and wine research agencies coming together with a single goal in mind: in collaboration, to achieve results that would not be possible working as standalone agencies.
With extensive research facilities on the Waite Campus in Adelaide South Australia, world-leading personnel and networks right around the globe, the WIC will deliver results effectively and efficiently. Between them, the co-located partners possess the major share of Australian research, development, extension and education capabilities over the whole of the grape and wine value chain.
Wine Innovation Cluster Partners
The WIC brings together four leading research agencies that address the needs of the grape and wine sector:
The Wine Innovation Cluster is also engaged with a number of other networks and organisations, including the National Wine Research Network and the National Wine & Grape Industry Centre in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
The next WIC networking event will take place at 3pm on Wednesday 27 November 2013 at the Plant Research Centre Auditorium on the Waite Campus. This will consist of a series of research snapshots from across the four WIC partner organisations, followed by a chance to discuss opportunities for collaboration over drinks and canapes afterwards.
